• Wear a face covering inside all SCTC buildings and in any situation. SCTC will be
providing branded, washable face masks to all faculty, staff and students.

• Complete a daily COVID-19 symptom check sheet when entering campus buildings

• If you are sick, stay home.

SCTC staff will welcome students under the SCTC canopy between the West and South building on Monday (8/17) and Tuesday (8/18) morning! We will have student schedules and SCTC masks available for all students!

Enhanced Cleaning/Disinfecting Protocols

Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place throughout campus to ensure all horizontal and vertical surfaces, along with critical touch points, will be addressed on a daily basis. SCTC will provide enhanced disinfection efforts across campus including the following spaces (but not limited to):

• Classrooms and learning spaces
• Restrooms
• Corridors and common/public spaces

The Public

SCTC is proud to welcome our alumni, friends, and community members to campus during our school year however, it is very likely the majority of our programming will be unavailable to the public during the 2020-2021 academic year.

SCTC is taking this proactive measure to protect everyone’s health and safety. It is our sincere hope we can welcome everyone back onto our campus soon. Until then, we encourage everyone to stay informed via our website and social media channels, engage with us virtually and continue to support our students as they move forward with their education. The health and well-being of our community remain SCTC’s top priority. We greatly look forward to welcoming you back!

Thank you for your continued flexibility and adaptability in these highly unusual times.

COVID-19: SCTC goes online

March 11, 2020

Good afternoon students,

In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College will move to providing an online format, via Schoology, for all classes beginning March 16th through March 27. SCTC students should refrain from visiting SCTC campus following 2020 spring break week. The SCTC campus will be closed to the public, though business operations will continue with appropriate measures to protect the health of the SCTC community. Students with extenuating circumstances should make immediate contact with their instructor.

Please be reminded that the Coronavirus can impact communities very quickly and adjustments will be made accordingly. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
