Placement Testing

All new students are required to take the COMPASS placement test in writing, reading, and mathematics prior to registration. Students scoring into ENG 096: Reading Comprehension must enroll in that course during their first semester at SCTC. An official transcript form an accredited institution showing prior equivalent coursework may be considered in lieu of placement testing.
